The Umri is a fully-staffed, two-storied homestay set amid pine forests and the solitude of nature. It has four bedrooms and sleeps eight adults. There are living and dining rooms on the ground as well as the first floor, and two spacious bedrooms each on both levels. The ground floor deck as well as the first floor balcony offer stunning views of the surrounding hills and forests and the bluest of skies. The rooms as well as their attached bathrooms are equipped with best-in-class amenities and facilities.

The Umri is a magical experience. We were looking for a modern place in a site of solitude not too far from Delhi, and we found it there. We spent the mornings trekking and visiting Corbett and the rest of the days lounging on the sofa and looking out at the mist floating among the hills. The very sight brought peace to the body and soul. The rooms are spacious and beautifully done up; and the cook is excellent. Will definitely revisit.

The Umri is my new favourite getaway from NCR. The rooms are lovely, the service is wonderful and unobtrusive and every meal is delicious. The book shelves are stacked with plenty of good books to read including lots of crime novels, my personal favorite. The place is so cosy; I don’t feel like stepping out even for a walk.

This is the best place for weekend getaways. The location is secluded and filled with immense peace. The natural surroundings are beautiful and green. The three staff members are helpful, warm and polite, and make every effort to make one’s stay wonderful. The food tastes delicious and can be customised to one’s needs. I have been here twice already and plan to come back many more times in the future. The Umri is a must visit!
